Well, my package to Rangerbeth was misrouted and sent back, so now it's on its way again, but it will definitely be a couple more days before she receives.

I don't have a routing number for her package to me.

Well, it looks like I didn't need that routing number.

I received today from Rangerbeth.  We agreed to a little spoiling.  Only I got really spoiled.

Here's everything together.

First up, a tool roll made from a store banner.  I think this is awesome recycling.  This photo shows it rolled up, in action with a couple of items, the back and the front of the roll.

Then she made me a froggy from quilting scraps.  And believe me, these are small scraps.  I think this is the cutest thing.  And before you ask, Gammykatie, the answer is no.  This one is mine.

Next up is a set of quilted coasters.  This girl has some mad sewing skills.  They were all tied up with a piece of ribbon left over from Christmas.  They are also made from the same quilting scraps.

She also made me a very, very cool banner for my craft room.  It's made from an old pair of jeans.  It says CREATE.  I love this.

And her last creation is a brooch made from an old advertising button, a recycled t-shirt and some more of that Christmas ribbon.  This is clever.

And the non-crafted extras.  The bag that everything was in, a leftover from a store purchase, and a very coveted book called Re-Creative.  I don't know how she knew, but I have been trying to find this book for two years.

Thank you very much, Rangerbeth.  I love my swap package.

What a great use of old jeans, so different than most of the other things I've made with them, that banner is very cool! Looks like you did an awesome job on everything!!

I received from Gammykatie yesterday and I'm so pleased with everything I got!  Grin I would have posted yesterday but it was raining all day, so no chance at good pictures....

I mentioned that I wanted help with organizing, especially in the tiny area delegated to crafting in my apartment, and she delivered!

First, she made this pin cushion/storage vessel out of a marmalade jar and corduroy. As of yet it is unfilled, but that will soon change!

On its side so you can see the shape:

Pen holder made from a can, cardboard, and scrap fabric

Action shot:

Action shot of both on my tiny sewing table:

(The spice rack is full of buttons if you were wondering.)

Wall Art/Organizer, made from recycled jeans and scrap lace:

This thing has so many pockets!

Close-ups:

I don't have any action shots for this yet, but I will upload when I do!

Then, she made me a set of cloth napkins that I wanted made from an old shirt:

I can never get edges like that! Any secrets?  Wink

She also sent me a couple extras, which makes me wish I had thought to do the same!

First I got a great tote bag with a ton of pockets made out of a curtain and fabric scraps.

This is something that I didn't know I always wanted until I got it. Seriously. Even though you didn't like the way it turned out, I'm very glad you decided to send it to me! Now I can craft while I travel without jumbling all my supplies together in a tangled mess as usual...Seriously this is great.

Inside view:

Guess what, there are pockets here too! And I love this fabric.

She also sent these earrings (how did you know I've always wanted some?  Grin) :

(My initials)

Here is a picture of the card and what I believe to be little soaps that were also sent. Any story on those?

Detail on the stitching:

Thank you so much for everything!! Trust me, I was not in the least disappointed!

THANK YOU!!!

That organizer is way cool! I love the pen holder, how clever to use the cardboard and ricrac! Love the whole package! Makes me so jealous of everyone!!

cjclark and I decided to just organize this swap, and then do a personal swap of RRR later on, we might just have to post all of our goodies in this gallery anyway when we do swap.

I wondered why you weren't listed on the front page.

Gammykatie does amazing things with fabric.  I'm always blown away by her creations, and that organizer was no exception.
