I received from Myrna Minx today. She says there's one more little surprise in the works but said she wanted to send the bulk of the package on time.
Here's some cute little handprint plaques she sent me. The kiddos and I already printed them. My two-year-old wouldn't hold her hand still but I think it turned out regardless. I thought this was a cute idea.
She also sent some recycled crayons. She also sent me some silky fabric bits, which I think would make a great purse lining.
Here are some cute owl charms she found at a garage sale. Love these.
And then she sent me this dreamboat. Just look at all that sexy chest hair.
I will definitely find a good use for him and rest of this vintage magazine.
If you are wondering, who's this guy?! I just wikied him.
Evigan is best known for his work in three hit television series:
* 1979's B.J. and the Bear, where he starred as B.J. McKay, a truck driver whose best friend was a chimpanzee named Bear;
* 1987's My Two Dads in which a teenage girl is raised by two past boyfriends of her deceased mother together when it cannot be determined which is the father (My Two Dads lasted until 1990); and
* mid-1990s TekWar, a sci-fit hit based on a series of books by Star Trek elder statesman William Shatner (who also co-starred). TekWar originated as a series of television movies in 1994 and then became a series in 1995.
Finally, she used some old frames, fabric and bird pics (I told her I like birds) to create some art.
I have to confess--I disassembled on them, added a few ribbons and buttons to the silky backdrop fabric and am using it for some antique photos--so I guess that's a triple-recycle.
Don't worry though. The bird photo survived. I decoupaged him onto some poster board. I think he just might show up on a dotee art doll.
Oh, here's the group shot.
