I finished my practice bracelet. Here are some pics. It has 13 (lucky #?) charms. I think the beads might overwhelm the charms so it should be scaled back a bit to showcase them more. I was just loving making the little dangles.

Bravo, love the Griffindor colors and the little lightening bolt is too cute for words. Grin  I made my self a loaded bracelet for practice also. Its pretty loaded and I'm glad for the practice also. I made some more bracelets I can share the link to when I post them, I'd rather wait in posting a group of crafts then to post several times. Can't wait for sign ups!  Wink Soon?

thanks! I think i did not too badly for my first try. it may not be truely "loaded" but for what i wanted it worked great.

Mandy, that is so beautiful! I'm not usually a fan of multiple beads on one charm (it sometimes looks too long) but that is the prettiest bracelet i ever did see! The colours, the theme, the clasp.... gorgeous! And the little green roses are such a nice touch!

This might be a silly question, but do the chains come in different lengths, or do you change them?

They do come in different lengths, but what I use you buy it, then cut it to the proper size. By cut i mean, if possible you open the chain, then reattach with pliers. I hope that make a little sense!

If you're shopping online look for the word unsoldered chain or links so you can separate a long chain into smaller bracelet sized ones. You can usually get 3 ft. of chain for the price of one specific sized soldered one.

I LOVE fusionbeads.com their shipping is so fast, their sales can be amazing, and they also sometimes put out coupon codes.
