So very cute! I want a tiny baby chimp to hold and cuddle. Smiley I can't believe how small and detailed he is! Love it! Great work- hope to see more from you!!!

Aw, thank you for all your wonderful feedback. Cheesy I was nervous about posting, now I'm so happy I did!

When I saw this thumbnail pic, I thought how realistic it looked but I never dreamed he was a mini! Shocked
He is very cool. I bet doing that mohair detail caused some serious sore eyes. He does need a name though.....

Thanks so much! Hmm, he does need a name, If we were going on words uttered the most while making him, it would probably be a four-letter name. Wink

This is awesome! He's so cute! And so well detailed its sorta eerie Tongue amazing job!!! Mind if I ask how you stuck the mohair to the clay?

Aww, I'm thrilled you like him. Smiley I just cut the mohair up into teeny-tiny pieces and then 'painted' small areas with fabri-tac and then quickly pressed on the hair. Have to be careful to get the glue:hair ratio right, or you end up with stringy white glue showing through the hair.

A work of art and so charming too! They both look very real.

Wow!  Shocked This is amazing! I'm hoping to start working in mini and I can only hope that someday I'll be able to make something so detailed.

I love him! I work with chimps, and I wish they all looked this cute and sweet. Smiley

I love the little chimp!  Do you sell these and if so for how much?

I love clay but I have zero talent when it comes to making ANYTHING in clay.  You did a great job.
