I got this naaaasty thing from my MIL – and I hated it! So I went to the fabric store – and boom! 3 Euros, 3 hours and 3 nervous breakdowns later it turned out into this:

I`m quite happy with how it turned out – especially because it is my first time upholstering anything. Basically it was my first time using a staplegun – and it was fun!

Can`t wait to make the other one tomorrow. If I can move again til then…

Thanks for looking! I would love to hear what you think! Cheesy

God it looks so much more chic! Was it hard re-upholstering it or was it a staple gun extravaganza??  Grin

Thanks,  you two!

It was kind of hard, because the chair is so old that it couldn`t be taken into parts, be upholstered and than brought back together. So I just kinda winged it on the way. It is not perfect at all, but a satisfying first try.  Cheesy

I like the new fabric you used, it breathes new life into the chair!

Thanks!

butter_fly: I think, chairs are much more easy to do. I`ve redone a chair ( http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=372917.0 ), and it was much more fun and waaaaay easier. Cheesy I can`t wait to see your try!
