Hubby and I are big Gene Simmons fans (you know KISS), and we love watching Gene Simmons Family Jewels on tv. The other night we were re-watching the episode where they roast Gene and Shannon says "Gene's a great father, he even has a cute nickname for our kids: Limited Edition KISS Offspring Memorabilia #1 and #2"

Hubby laughs and looks at me and says wouldn't that make a great t-shirt or something for the baby?

I say what?

He says you know "Limited Edition Daugherty Offspring Memorabilia #1"

Yes, as a matter of fact that would be funny, I reply

I love my husband.... he's so cute! We have a very odd sense of humor sometimes but that's why we go so well together. Cheesy

I recently was inspired by this swap topic to decorate some onesies for a friends baby shower. I wasn't sure where else to post this so I thought you craftsters in this topic would appreciate these pics!
I drew this Cat in the Hat:

I cut this out from a boys Paul Frank t-shirt and embroidered it on:

This was also cut out from a shirt. It's supposed to be a giant wedge of cheese and on the back it says "I'm the big cheese." If you could see it better I embroidered yellow stitching around the cheese , navy blue around the sunglasses, and baby blue around the edge.

The next two are from boys Transformers underwear. One glows in the dark as well!
I took the elastic band from the leg holes and made it into a collar around the onesie!
Barricade

Ratchet

Hope you like! Thanks for looking!

SO excited! I'm throwing a bachelorette party here tonight, we have a birthday party to go to tomorrow, Church and dance rehearsal on Sunday, Rehearsal Dinner on Monday and then our friends' wedding on Tuesday. I won't be getting much if ANY crafting done between now and Tuesday.

Can I just say that registries can be a pain in the butt? Maybe it's just baby registries, I don't remember having this trouble with our wedding registry. Everytime I log on to make sure everything is still available I have to re-register for like 5-8 items because they're out of stock or no longer being sold! What a huge headache! It's hard enough finding cute boy stuff sometimes, but then when I do find it it's never available long enough for someone to purchase. This sucks!

As far as swap stuff goes, I think it's going well. It's helping with my stress at least. Which right now is a great thing.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that isn't halfway done yet. I saw those first few posts and was feeling bad. Slow down girls  Wink

Well I'm glad I haven't decided to buy the shirts as I found none while shopping yesterday!

But I'm halfway done with another one and got a genius idea while doing it... So now I'll applique what I originally wanted to this one on another one...

And I have something that might help some of you:
