Krafty_Karasu - sorry I haven't posted pics yet of your awesome needlebook! I have them on my camera just need to get them off. I spent the entire weekend nursing a sick hedgehog and frantically trying to finish an apron for another swap so I wasn't on the computer much. The hedgie is with me at work today actually as I have to feed her every two hours and give her meds. So tired. But I WILL get pics up tonight. I promise. Sorry again!

Okay...here is my OTHPT....I LOOOOOVE it!

I opened up the box to find this.....

which is pretty enough by itself. So I'm thinking, oh cool...maybe it's decoupaged on the inside or something...
but then I open it to find...

THIS...

It's Bellatrix's pendant! It's so great, I really do love it. Here are a few more shots.

Thanks so much Pinkleo! This has been a really fun swap!

Ooh, that's a really cool looking pendant!

I received from Ex_Gratia today (the packaging looked nicer before I tore it off in excitement, then put it back on for pictures)

Inside the box was a Remembrall!

It looks like there's something I forgot...now if I could remember what it was

Outside the box was a blue tipped "Ravenclaw" feather and a napkin ring thingy that I decided was a good display stand

Thanks!

PS: to show off the etching you could put dark paper in it or hold it up against a dark background.  That's what I did to check for mistakes.

you are quite welcome.  Grin

and notice that I had to add a little Hufflepuff flair to it.  Wink  a black ribbon bookmark with a yellow bead.  Smiley

I took 2 little sprites someone made of Dumbledor and Harry and placed them behind what is actually a chalice.  I just cut off the bottom and made the "liquid" green.  and I was able to find a background to put behind them and bring everything together.  so now it's reminiscent of the actual cover.  Grin

here's a picture of the spine:

this was the MOST in-depth needle book I've ever made.  I wanted a light green Aida cloth, but I couldn't find any, so I had to stitch the entire background too!  that is the first time I've ever made a (roughly) 4x4 square of cross stitches.  now do you see why my fingers hurt so much?  Cheesy
