Phew - silly me, I was racing to get this done by the end of the 5th, but even though it is the 6th in half an hour where I live in NZ, it is not the end of the 5th for many more hours in the US! Oh well, now that I am done and I still have some margarita left Grin, then I may as well post it now anyway!

I have made these star accordion books before in large size (as @ http://www.homeofcraft.com/2010/03/05/fold-out-book/, but I have never really embellished or decorated them like this one. I started with pink dotty paper that I thought would suit the tiny theme and had some cut out heart shapes, so that set the theme - and an excuse to go to my favourite craft shops for more heart bits and bobs. I had so much fun and love the result - just have to try and remember where it is for Valentines next year and I can use it!

The next photo has a usual size fold out book in the background

I managed to find something with inches on it to accurately show actual size ...

Now I can enjoy browsing all the other entries again - such cool things!

Cheers,

They are quite easy to make the basic book - my kids want to make one after seeing this so I am going to teach them and make a tutorial when I do - when that gets done I will post it on crafster. Mind you, no promises on when that will be!
Thanks
