You know, I got a wonderful Brother Embroidery machine last here as a promotion for the Master Craftster Campaign...I totally forgot that it has this wonderful random machine quilting stitch!!  I am going to try it on my next stash quilt!

How are the rest of you tagging your additional quilts made from your stash? I got the 1 Downy label with my kit but wasn't sure what to do with the others I plan to make.

I am thinking about scanning it in and printing it on printable fabric sheets. If I do that, I can send a couple of those scanned & printed labels out to others (not sure exactly how many extras I will have until I start the process) since I always print a full sheet because those fabric sheets are so expensive (Joann's coupon is the only way I buy them!).

Let me know what the rest of you are doing to label your extra quilts.

vwbug did you know you can print on basically any fabric? i've never seen printable fabric sheets so i don't even know what kind of fabric it is but i've printed on fabric many of times with my ink jet printer. all you have to do is iron your fabric onto freezer paper, print, and peel it off!

great, jennieingram!

Petunya--are the appliques allowed?  This is a really lovely quilt (I commented in the separate thread!)...

alwaysinmyroom...I hope so. There are a few appliqued quilts in the Quilts for Kids Gallery, so I guess they take them. Knowing these quilts will be washed very often, I did use WonderUnder + the machine stitch, so the hearts are stuck on pretty well!

Yeah--I saw some like that, too, and I was hoping to do one with some cute appliques!

I am going to email them with all of my questions...I would like to make each of my stash quilts a different pattern just so I have some variety in tuning my skills!

I loved your quilt as it was, but the hearts really made it a stand out!

YAY--I keep checking here...love to see new quilts---please please don't let this thread get stale...this is a great way to use your talent and to inspire others...even ONE quilt is awesome, everyone!  I am going to hunt through and see if I can get an estimated count of how many quilts have been promised (not necessarily completed yet...so those who have not finished, let me crack the whip here! get going!!)

I received my third Q4K kit last weekend. The prints are transportation themed. Was busy with another project so I haven't started it yet...can't wait to get working on it, though!
