I haven't decided for sure on a pattern, but I do love the giant block quilt I just made! The pattern was in Quiltmaker magazine and I'm not seeing it anywhere online or pictures yet.

Since they require so much quilting, it might be a great pattern to use!  What size was that quilt?  Does it fit their requirements?  I get pretty bored doing the D9P!!

Oh I haven't checked to see if it fits their requirements, it's supposed to end at 40 x 40 but haven't measured mine.

I just saw on their FB page they are especially short on teen boy quilts. I'm sure I have fabric that would be good for that, but not sure I want to commit to making a bigger quilt, I can just whiz through the smaller ones so quickly!

Someone posted a finished quilt made from this tute on the quilting board and I love the pattern!

http://neverenoughhours.blogspot.com/2010/08/fat-quarter-baby-quilt-tutorial.html#

It uses 6 fat quarters and finishes at 34 x 42 inches

Since they prefer the quilts to be:

Quote
What size should the quilts be?

Approximately 38"- 40" x 45"- 46"

I would probably add a 4 1/2 inch border all the way around and call it good!

If anyone comes across new patterns that aren't on the list on the front page but would be a good fit for this project, please let me know!

Maremare - for teen boys, they still want it under 45X45 right?  I'll have to look if I have any appropriate fabric.  I don't think I do :/

I actually just asked that question on their FB page. I'll let you know when/if they answer!

I have a guitar print in my stash that should be good for teen boys...I also have some darker stripes and solids...I think I will make my two teen boys then...
