Crafting is in my blood! Just not in my geneology.

Thats when I knew I had to have one.  I saved my money(thinking i would need $25-30 in supplies, but only spending $8.32) and set out towards Hobby Lobby for the felt and polyfil that would surely be a fix to my need of a robot just like Ro-Bert.  I grabbed my materials and in a frenzy drove home and spent 8 hours cutting and sewing and giggling.  And this is what I came up with.
I was in love.  So I took him on a trip.

And he met some new friends.

Who have lots of fun posing his mouth and tongue to give him his one little personality.

So now he spends lots of time traveling around with me and having his adventures documented to Facebook.

(If youre interested, that can be found here. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4866711&id=538497703#!/pages/The-Big-Adventures-of-Little-Robot/332199974078?ref=ts)

Thanks so much to Malinki for making something so inspiring!

ETA: It was originally FairyWing's robot that lead me to Malinki's.  Go see hers too!

And if you have any good name suggestions, I'm all ears!

(To The Tune of "The Llama Song")Here's a needle, there's a needle, and some yarn between the needles, cast on, knit, purl, always knitting, knitty, knitty, purl.

You definitely should.  I bring him everywhere and people really like him!  Ive had about 4 friends ask me to make them one!

Its really not as hard as it looks, especially if you hand sew it like Malinki did!
And affordable.  I thought this was going to cost me $25-30.  I spent $8, but only used about $6 of my materials!

I looooooove the pic of him hanging of the lamp!
He looks adorable (and so does the original).
I made a robot once too... based on the robots of Lynette May. I gave it away, but I guess I'll have to make a new one now... Wink
