Hullo again! I have been crochet crazy lately haha. I saw some cute octopi while browing amigurumi pictures, and decided it would be a nice simple pattern to try and follow.

I used this pattern, and think I have the hang of following (simple) patterns hehe. The tentacles were tricky to get the placement and spacing correctly, but I absolutely adore him.

thanks for checking my lil fella out!

Wow! This was my first crochet project, nearly a year and a half ago. You're right, the legs were hard to get into correct placement. Which is why mines weren't. Also, I didn't have toy stuffing then, so I used wads of cottons wool. AND I didn't have toy eyes so I just stitch some x's on. The result?

Wonkypus.

Compare my leg placement with yours...

Poor Wonkypus, he tried his best. I learned a lot though - my first amigurumi of many! Since then I have, thankfully, found a source of toy stuffing and toy eyes.
