Hey everyone! Here's mah websiiiiteee: http://fluxxii.com/

I want to know just one thing about it before I go crazy and send the link off to everyone: how's my content?

When you look at the site, are you thinking, "Wow, this is great/interesting! I would love to support this!" or is it more like, "Okay yeah, mental health, I get it, stop mentioning it already." Sometimes I feel like it's too overwhelming and too cheesy. Is it to corny? Opinions?

If you have any comments about the design I would love those too, but really I'm more concerned with the text and content at the moment. Smiley Thanks!

I don't think it's overkill to say mental health that much.

Are you aware that you don't actually have a link to the charities you're supporting with this site? Personally, I always want to know what charities I'm supporting. General mental health isn't enough for me. Smiley

^^ Yup! The sidebar was added a couple days ago and I've been busy switching servers (agaaain) rather than continuing to work on that. Thanks for your input!

I've updated a lot of the website content, so more insight would be amazing. Smiley

I'm happy to see you kept the Buddha.

As far as the "great, wow" thing goes, I'm not sure it will make a difference for people who are not "into" mental health or have a connection to start with; basically everyone who makes money gives to charities of their choice, published or not, and mental health happens to be yours. I'm not sure I'm really finding the path from the products to the health or vice versa except in the profit arena. It seems more...arbitrary to me, perhaps.

^^ Yeah, I completely understand what you're saying there. It's something I took into consideration I'm still kind of struggling to make the connection and make it applicable to the store. I think that right now I'm trying to make it a general feel-good website (with a focus on body image and self-esteem) through the blog and networking, although I'm not sure yet. It's great to actually hear someone else say it though, thanks!
