I sent in my application! This swap is perfectly timed for me - I've been itching to craft but I don't have enough time or inclination to craft for myself, and the nostalgia factor attracts me too.  Ah, the long lost summer camp days...

Biting's excellent. It's like kissing, but there's a winner!

I've always wanted to make these!  Cheesy

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to join. It'd probably be a good 1st swap for me, but I honestly have never made friendship bracelets before. Is it hard for beginners?

If you can tie knots, a lot of knots, you can make these.  Smiley

Yay! My first swap -- I'm 'way excited -- can you guys tell?  I sent in my questionnaire - I'm looking forward to my kids asking me why I have string safety pinned to me....  but, hey, they already think mom's a bit weird.

I'm so tempted!! Hmmm...I think I'm going to see how far I am in my other on-going swaps and potentially be a late joiner Smiley.

Yay I sent in my questionnaire!

I'm wondering, what exactly constitutes a friendship bracelet. Is there a definition? The friendship bracelets I have made in the past involved knitting floss on needles the size of toothpicks, incorporating some beads, a bit of weaving, and some itsy bitsy crocheting... all in one bracelet. Like these (found on the internet):

So out of the above bracelets, do any or all of them count as friendship bracelets? I haven't done the knotting thang but would if that is the definition of friendship bracelets for this swap.

Wow, Casstasstrophie, those are beautiful!  I don't know if everyone else would agree, but for me and my pals "back in the day," a friendship bracelet was anything we made ourselves and gave, and the more creative the better.  Those rock out loud.  I'd love to see some of yours.
