The half-inch-scale table and chair were both done a few years ago. The pieces ON the table were finished last night. The new pieces are VERY rustic; I basically had to take splinters of wood and rest them together with just the surface tension of the glue to hold them in place. Then I carved the excess glue away with the smallest bit on my dremel. The newspapers are photos of a front page, shrunk down in Photoshop. (I probably didn't need to bother going to that much trouble; spots of ink on typing paper would have been just as readable.)

I didn't think to have my husband take any "in process" pictures, which is a shame because I'm sure my reaction was pretty entertaining when the puff of air coming out of the glue bottle managed to blow the pieces across my workbench.

Hooray, my first submission to Craftster!

Exactly how small are those? They have to be miniscule!

I think I printed out the newspapers to be one inch long, so the table would be a quarter inch. If that. Smiley

Such an interesting piece of artwork! The scale is mind boggling and the photos are really neat.

So teenie. It's kind of mind blowing, actually.

I would have loved to have seen those 'in process' pictures! Wink

OMG!  I'm in love again.  I have tried to do miniatures for my miniatures, and my old fingers just can't do it.  I adore your work.
