This is my first time posting any of my projects here on Craftster! I've been making Steampunk type jewelry for a short while, first from torn apart watches and other stuff, and then from a large lot of rusty clock parts I purchased. Here are a couple of pieces I've made:

First is a piece I call Keylock Work Cameo:

Next is a really amazing pair of earrings I sold. They were inspired by and accident: I kept these hands in with a bunch of small gears and they got tangled up, but looked so good! I hope their new owner loves them as much as I did. I called these Minute Gearrings:

This is a pendant my friend eventually took and then broke, so it looks a bit different now then it did then, titled Time Frame:

This one looks so bad in pictures because of the glass cover, but they were the best I could do. Tick-tockey:

Another set of earrings. These I actually like a bit more because they feel really whimsical. Almost Alice in wonderland meets steampunk. Second Gearrings:

Thanks for taking a look. C&C welcome.

I love all of these! And I'm always impressed when someone can think of something to do with the mainspring. That part always LOOKS like it should be useful for jewelry, but I've yet to make it work with anything.

Yeah, the mainspring is really nice in that piece, but is sadly the part that broke (who knew that if you drop that, the wound up bit can simply pop out!) I had to replace it with a fly wheel and some other set of hands.
I wish I had a recent picture of that piece because the fly wheel came out good too. I left a tiny bit of the curled wire sticking out that made it look a bit more whimsical.

These are stunning! I love the last set of earrings...I agree, they are like Alice in Wonderland! I am always so jealous of the talented ones among us who can create steampunk jewelry because the parts don't fit together in my head.  Love it!
