I bought this yarn thinking to use a specific pattern, but decided instead to pick a few patterns from a 63 pattern stitch booklet.  I call it "The Mangroves" because of the colors, brown from roots, green for seaweed, blue for water, multi for seashells and sea glass.  It's probably my largest project I've ever finished.

this is really pretty...i just finished making my boyfriend a blanket with manly colors in different stitch patterns too, i just wish i would have thought of doing it all striped like this instead of making 80something squares, it would have been so much faster!

Love this! I adore the variety in color and texture, and the colors work so well together.

I just joined Ravelry, let's be friends?

TY  Smiley  I picked the colors so they would compliment my dad's decor.  They were also on clearance, lol, I wish I had bought more, I really liked the colors, too.
I think the best part of it is that it was worked as one piece, I hate having to join squares!

I really like the colors and the stitches you picked. The two go well together and look awesome. How big is your blanket?

I think it was somewhere around 48" to 54" by 60" to 66".  Forgot to take measurements, but it's plenty big enough to cozy up under while watching tv in his recliner.
