Kitchen Scrubbies!!!! YEAHS. I opened the package at the office & the apt manager said O WOW I LOVE THOSE! So now I need material & pattern to make her some.


check out this awesome tote! study enough for that trip to groery store on way home from work (I promise not to make it a WIPS bags...maybe....but hold a gallon of milk a box of cereal & pk of butter & still room to set a small loaf of bagels on top--my niece (she tested it out you see) and is eyeballing it INTENSLY LOL

OK now I LOVe that fabric bowl--that's gonna be on the near future to figure out (or I'll go to etsy & buy one?)  Lovely packages! The sewcaddy is gorgeous & all the talents I see on this board bowl me over

...thinking new house craft room maybe need to be Master suite instead of smallest bedroom at this rate....

I love blues and that apron is so lovely!! I can see it matches at least part of your wardrobe!! Great!

I am so bad about using the totes for WIPS!  That one looks to be a good size!!

sheriB, UT--you should try to make those bowls--they are so easy and so addicting!!  I have made six already and have them in use all over my house! The last one I made for myself is holding my little tins of Adagio teas!! One is holding my napkins from sajona and one is holding my handmade soaps! I love them!!

I arrived home from my spring break trip to Toronto, to TWO fantastic birthday packages!

I Squeeeeeeeeeee'd a lot when I opened both of them!

First, I opened a package from Tapestrymlp who claimed me for a crafting apron:

She chose owl fabric, for my love of owls!





It fits perfectly, and looks wonderful. Tapestrymlp also sent a yard of vintage floral fabric, which was on my whish list.



Secondly, I opened an amazing package from alwaysinmyroom!






She sent two stuffed owl pillows straight from my wist - I'm keeping the purple one, and smaller blue one is for my little sister who also had a march birthday and turned 21! I'll give it to her whenever she gets a chance to visit me.

Alwaysinmyroom spoiled me though, because she sent SO MANY extras:
-A set of handmade notecards with matching envelopes
-about 10 vintage buttons
-3 skeins of lace
-A latch hook
-and adorable children's book about woodland friends for me to cut up for ATC's.

The apron is so cute and nicely made--love the shape and the fabric! We must have both had owls on the brain, eh, tapestrymlp!!

I love paisley so it was easy to craft for you! Finally got to use up some of my hoarded paisley papers!
Can I just tell you how much lace I have?  omg--I made costumes for a dancing troupe and they gave me rolls and rolls of lace...big rolls and rolls of lace!!  The owls are my new addiction...I love making them!

Glad you had a great birthday...I know I did!
