Knew straightaway from the preview on the front page it was Jem...

Me too!!!  I LOVED Jem.  I think I still have my dolls somewhere.

You did such a great job!

Thanks for all the lovely comments everyone Smiley
I'm off to the hardware store to get some hooks for the Misfits - they've been finished for about a month now and still haven't been hung up!!  Oops!!

I would totally hang any one of those on my wall.  My husband would probably object, but who listens to him, anyway?

My other half knows better than to object when it comes to anything Jem-related haha Wink

Well, our living space has been totally taken over by my My Little Pony obsession/collection, so I can only ask so much of him!  Grin

I love these paintings.  I watched Jem before school in the mornings.  When I go on entertaiment sites, you tube and even Ravelry.  For whatever reason someone will mention how much they miss the 80's  and wish that they could go back.  Your art work was one more reminder of how amazing that decade was.

ETA:

shelaya82,
I know what you mean.  If only time travel was possible.  There are some things about the 80's I miss.

rossie and Tygermane,
I was excited to read that your daughters like the show too.  Looks like Jem stands the test of time.  Thanks for the link Tygermane.
