I am so thrilled with the way this came out. I posted the complete pattern and notes, including changes in the knit-along board . So, I won't duplicate any of that info. Please refer to it, You will see the vintage photo there as well.
My final version has a 3" deep rib, which forms a shawl collar. I like it better this way.
I would definitely wear this out, it's not just a "Bed-Jacket".
What do you think? Should I wear it out.... Or Not?
This basic shape can be modified for crochet. If you'd like to try it as a crochet, make a response and I'll type up the comps.
Thanks for looking!

Remember, look in the knitalongs to see the original vintage photo. I didn't want to double post.
 Thank You!

the sleeves on it are so cute, I love this piece, reminds me of something my high school drama teacher would wear.

Wow! Thanks for all the great feedback! Let me get on this, as for writing a crochet pattern, It
won't be that hard. I think it might use up a bit more yarn, But basically, it's a big rectangle, pulled up by the cuffs. I should have something posted here tomorrow.
Thanks, Everyone! Karen
