Just finished this up for a birthday party this afternoon.  It holds 8 jumbo crayons.  I think it would also hold 16 regular crayons if you put 2 in each pocket.  This is the second one I've made.  The first was functional, but not great.  This is version 2.0 and much better!

Wow this is such a great idea. Wonderful to put in a purse for dr office or church. Did you make up this pattern or where did you find it?

Thanks! We tried out the first one I made at a restaurant last night and it was a hit with my 2 year old.  DH and I got to finish out dinner mostly in peace.

I saw something similar but couldn't find a tute.  I found several great tutes for crayon rolls, but none for something like this that held the paper too.  So I figured it out.  I'd be happy to share if people are interested.  I want to make another one for my purse since this one is so much better than the 1st one.  It won't be till Sunday afternoon or so till I can get to it though.

The only purpose of the day job is to buy the craft supplies!! Cheesy  Seriously, I LOVE making personalized crafts. I now have a line of hand-crafted fans and notecards using the Zentangle (R) technique. I have also become a Certified Zentangle Teacher and teach other artforms and techniques.
