This method is what I use for dyeing roving now, and I love it!  So easy and cleanup is a snap!!!

Ohhhhhh, you got PURPLE  Shocked

I've been trying for *ages* to get purple with Wilton's!  How'd you do it?? Usually it splits into pinkish and blueish because of the acidic conditions.

Nice!!  Although I found myself looking sideways at what cookbooks you have!!  LOL.  The Little House Cookbook, eh?  I have that one too!

Thanks for the link to the oven dyeing tute.  I may have to try that!  Usually, I just take wet wool placed on plastic wrap, put my colors where I want them, roll up the plastic wrap and stick them in the microwave for 2-4 minutes.
