Its awesome, and i NEED to learn to knit . My lovely boyfriend got it for me for christmas, 'Because i like roller derby and doing things with wool' (bless) but he didnt realise that knitting and crochet were totally different things.

Our league is planning  monthly stitch&bith meeting though, and i hope to learn there so i can make EVERYTHING in it. twice. Its that good haha

hope everyones craftng is going as well as mine Smiley

xx

Wow this group is quiet....lol

I've been busy planning and searching for supplies. No crafting yet but getting there.

I love it that my partner is a real roller girl, not just a fan.

How did the bout go ShesA?

Well, im finally having a weekend off, sorta!

I have been derbied to my eyeballs for the past 3 weeks, we went to promote whipit and then a mixed scrimmage, then we had the Texas Hustlers coming for a bootcamp and a bout with the other London team.

They were awesome!!!! Those Texans stole my heart!!!

So finally having a little bit of time off to craft, phew!

I have a few ideas, but now i need to make a nice list, get organised and start up!

How ya'll doing?

The bout was fun, but frustrating. it was a pretty close game, until the end. 69-53 to them, but thats the lowest winning score against us ever - shows the defence drills are working!

I got taken out by a nasty tripping major, and landed straight on my hip bone, which is currently sporting a bruise the size and colour of a ripe plum Sad ouch. Ive been hobbling about like a pensioner!

I reckon if we had actually had chance to train together (team of 12 made up of 6 of our players, 6 of CCR who live 3 hours away -first time skating together) and if the refs actualy COULD see everything and call it right, we would have won no problem.

I still had fun though. great day out, and it was a double header, so i got to watch a bout after too Smiley
