So my friend had her baby 10 days early, so I really had to scramble to get this quilt finished to give it to her!

It's a true scrap quilt, no pattern, just slash and sew, used up all the little bits and pieces of fabric I already had leftover from other projects. I really enjoyed making this, everything just came together so perfectly - the piecing, the basting, the quilting and the binding. And she absolutely loves it.

Thanks for looking!

This is really cool! I love it. Smiley I need to get rid of my scraps too. I've been making wallets and tea wallets out of my scraps, but I think it would be really cool to make a quilt out of them.  I don't have many big pieces though ... so it could end up being a ton of work! Tongue

It's fantastic! I love baby quilts that use non-traditional colors. I really like that the scraps aren't perfectly square/rectangular but the stitching is. How do you do that by the way? I have finished my first quilt-top but I still haven't quilted it so I'm clueless Smiley.
