I was inspired the other day to pull out a project that, for the longest time had sat in mid progress, on the back burner for one reason or another.

I love flower faeries and gardening. So I combined the two loves after receiving a few birthday cards with faeries on them. I used a cheap cigar type box that I had laying around for years as the base. Some paint, tissue paper, glitter, rub on transfers, stickers, flowers, ribbons, lace, sequins, polymer clay, scrapbook paper, and a few hours and this is what I had come up with.

I am by far not the best paper or mixed media crafter, but I had fun with this and am currently working on another in a different theme. There are more pictures including in progress shots on my blog http://craftyfae.blogspot.com

C&C welcomed!

Thanks for looking.

I really like this.  I'm trying my hand at decoupage and using mod podge and varnishes.  Very fun, I love it.  I love boxes, and being able to make and decorate my own is so much fun.  I never thought of using ribon and stuff.  I'll have to try that!
