Hello,

I found out I was going to be an auntie recently so I wanted to make something special for the baby that wasn't gender specific! I decided to make an alphabet quilt, it's cot sized and each letter has an appliqued picture of something that begins with that letter. It took alot of work and it still isn't completely finished (still needs binding!!!) but I'm pretty happy with it as it's only the second quilt I've ever made. Anyway hope you all like it and any tips on what colour to bind it will be greatly appreciated!!

Wow! It looks like a lot of hard work went into that quilt. They are going to love it! I would suggest red binding. Good luck finishing it!

First of all, congratulations to the soon-to-be auntie!  I, too, just found out that I'm going to be an aunt.  Exciting , isn't it?  Your quilt is great!  I love the pictures, especially the mouse!  I would suggest binding it in red.
