After the first set of Transformer hats for toddlers I made (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=325090.msg3753410#msg3753410) I swore never again.  And then mink_bikini asked for a set for her husband and son.  She being an awesome swap partner how could I refuse?

Here they are in all thier glory!

This pic looks like its been cross processed because I tried to colour correct it for a failed flash.  I just couldn't resisted how adorable mink_bikini's family is =)

And some detail shots...

The adult sized hat is essentially unaltered from the original pattern with the exception of some added repeats of the side panel pattern to make it a little larger.

For the toddler sized hat I redrew the chart to size it down, used the HK earflap hat generator to get the math, and added earflaps.  The inside is solid black.

Overall I'm happy with how they turned out, and much happier with my kitchener stitch graph this time around.

Hey that's my family  Wink

I can confirm that these hats are very warm and fit a treat, the photo was taken in our dingy apartment in the evening, not the best shot I admit, but with a wriggly grump of a teething baby, you take the shots when and where you can.

Thanks again Nven for an awesome personal swap  Grin

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.
