I made this set of pillow cases for babalina in ongoing wish swap 80, they're inspired by this boldloft design, but as you'll see, I've had to flip it so the boy and the girl would be on the right side:) I wasn't entirely sure sure whether to post these pillow cases here or in the needlework board, so I'm going to trust the moderators to move this topic if necessary.

I first drew the image on the fabric with tailor's chalk, blotting out a couple of times because the images online are simply to tiny to blow up to a size big enough to transfer, then embroidered the piece and had the covers sewn together. My mother did that last step because my sewing machine has transformed into a fabric devouring monster and she knows how to tame it. I'm getting her old sewing machine this weekend! It's soo much better than mine Smiley

Here are close-ups of both figures:

And this is mainly to show off their size:

They're US king size cases, and we only have EU pillows, so I sadly couldn't take pictures of the cases serving their purpose, but I'm sure babalina will send over some action shots after the move is finalised and they're put to use Smiley

C&C always appreciated

The red line - hot line - with the heart, awesome!
The idea of two pillows together being ONE love story, is great.

Thanks Smiley I really like that the boy's blushing (even thoug it's just slightly) because it makes him a bit shy and maybe vulnerable(?)
