Thank you! I've been away from Craftster for a while, are there any fiber trades anyone knows of going on these days?

Your fibers make me want to learn the art so I can have something to trade worthy of your beautiful creations. Great job hows the pregnancy going?

Oh my gosh, these are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful!! I am so envious of your talent!

This might be a silly question, but I'll ask anyway... Can wool batting like these be used for needle felting? I'm just learning needle felting and if I can use beautiful fibers like these, I won't be able to contain my excitement! LOL Cheesy

Absolutely they can be used for needle felting! All you have to make sure of when purchasing any fiber for felting is that it doesn't contain Superwash (or sometimes abbreviated SW) fiber, or a content of any plant or synthetic fiber over 40% of the total weight (give or take, but that's my own general rule of thumb.)

Thank you so much for the info! Smiley I saw needle felting in a magazine and really wanted to try it. So I got a Clover needle felting tool, a mat and a bit of wool from Joann's. But your colors are soooooooooooooooooo oooo much prettier than what I saw in the store! Cheesy I can't wait to try out my needles and wool... If I like it - I'm sure I will - I'll definitely be using your advice to find prettier wool! Thank you!! Cheesy

WOW I love your batts!!

I am also new to needlefelting and carding. I didn't exactly jump for joy over what I found in the store, either, so I sought out to learn how to put together batts for all sorts of needlefelted projects. I also bought a scrap piece of foam at an upholstery outlet store, because I was finding I needed a much bigger space than just the little brush mat.

Art could be ever so funny if it wasn't such a deadly serious business.

I agree with everyone else; these are simply beautiful. I'd have a hard time picking one favorite.
