I have found a supplier of the synthetic civet oil...its on the way...so who wants some?

actually..lol..I am not sure what to do with it now, might just have a go at making some blends with essentials oils and see if I can come up with a nice perfume, then use that perhaps for bath bombs or moisturisers...I am not sure how well the civet oil would stand up to lye.

There's also no way I'll ever scrape the ceiling for civet pee or oil. Ew! Their pee, by the way, is absolutely rank. It's so concentrated and... Well, that ought to be enough of a descriptor, yes?

edelC, have fun with your fake civet oil. Smiley

Looking online it looks like quite a few places suggest using it in CP as a good base note and stabilizer for some of those fleeting, earth scents. Of course soap suppliers aren't always 100% correct, so take that as you will. Smiley
