I absolutely love the letters...but the best pic is of the baby chewing on them...melted my heart!!

What a great thing to receive!! The variety of fabrics is wonderful and colorful--and looks like would be a great project to use up small scraps! Lovely job!

**pinches cute pie's cheeks***just too cute...

I received a truly awesome package from MommyTheMaid! (I was right!) Get ready to wist:

An ouchie freezer pack, capsules that become dinos in water, & some felt & patterns to make felt food:

A cloth diaper with aliens, an adjustable apron for my son (for playing with felt food, some of which I received from MommyTheMaid in a personal swap before Crafty Detective!), and wool shorties & longies:

The longies have a fish on the waist Smiley

Gotta include the action shots:

And my favorite items - a shirt that says "Eat at Mom's - Fast, Fresh, From the Breast" and this gorgeous skirt!

Sorry this picture is blurry but I wanted to show the full length of the skirt.

You're a fabulous Crafty Detective! Smiley

Thanks guys - he's a ham, and he just learned the cheesy smile. It's it's only been a day and those letters are already a favorite.

On to the more crafty goodness Shelanie sent me:

A set of tee shirts with ties sewn on them (also for the boy):

Here's a close up of my favorite one, with the planets on them - it's so nerdy I love it!

I got a set of fancy head bands:

This one my husband pointed out could double as a choker:

This is my favorite thing - a set of faux capiz shell garland, that I can use to make a chandler - as modeled by my side lamp.

She made the "shells" out of this shiny card stock that has subtle swirls and shine in it - it looks perfect! Here's a close up:

THANK YOU SO MUCH SHELANIE! I loved the stuff you crafted for my and my son.
And I big thanks to hottyblond and saralanne for organizing, it was super fun!

omg, I am putting that faux shell garland at the top of my to-make list.  My living room lighting scenario is dying for an update.

Love the faux shell garland thing. There's probably tons of crisp decorative paper for scrapbooking that would work to personalize. I think I'll have to try it!

I love the tee's with the ties and that skirt is gorgeous!

I also love the faux shell garland, what a great idea!

Thank you for the action shots!!  I love them!!  I am so glad that everything fit.  I was worried about the length of the skirt.  I tried it on and it was a little short and I am only 5'8 so I was worried.  I am so glad that it fits you and you like it Cheesy

That faux shell was so easy to make and I love how it looks! I bought bridal scrap booking paper as I couldn't find rice paper and a 2 inch punch. This was the day the heavens opened up here and it rained like no other. As I was trying to rush into the house to avoid getting soaked I grabbed the bag wrong and all the paper fell into the mud. It was $2 a sheet (and totally worth it!) so I got totally frustrated, never mind the craft store was an hour round trip away. I cried and my husband picked up one of the muddy sheets and drove back to the store and brought me more. *sniff, sniff* Sweet man.  Cry  So the shells were made with love. The drama that revolves crafting and swaps!

I love that breastfeeding shirt - hilarious!
I never thought to make cloth diapers - did you use a patterns or tutorial you found somewhere?
