hey, i hope this post goes here. this is my first post and didn't know exactly where this belongs. anyway i just took a plain black tank top ($5) and some old iron-on transfer things i've had for forever and made this:

at the bottom:

the top:

the only thing i don't like is how you can see where i cut out around the words.

the top of the shirt was stolen from someone else here who made a shirt like this. except the font of the shirt and the way the pictures are edited. thanks to whoever's idea i stole.

I love it! The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a book that deserves a tshirt, plus it's kind of unique to have a book tee instead of, say, a band tee or a movie tshirt.

I kinda like the way you can see the outline around the words, but it might look cooler on another color. And I love that book so much I bought another copy for my little sister to read. Great idea for a shirt!

I did a tranfser yesterday that did the same thing (being able to see where it's been cut around) and it's annoying. I might add some glitter or sequins or tiny buttons or something in the spots that are really bad but I don't know. It mostly came out okay.
hmmm..I've never ehard of that book....think I'll be having to find a copy...

The words separated look fine!
I haven't had much luck with iron-ons staying ironed on over time, though....are you planning on hand washing?
