I got this pattern off of Crochetville. I love the pattern but had a terrible time with the muzzle. It was probably, no definitely, my fault. I had to improvise the muzzle and I didn't use enough red. He looks slightly ticked off. Perhaps it's because I got lazy and made him a hat from the toe of a sock. I was using some really old yarn and I had just enough to make this little guy.

Heading out on a hike?

With my sock monkey, Milly

I dig his little hat. It's got a jaunty little tilt to it.

Okay, so I like it because it just needs a little feather and it would be a little pimp hat.  Roll Eyes

I love your demented monkey, particularly when he's with his little cheery friend.

Did he go for a hike?  Must take his wee feet ages to dry out.

I love monkeys! The yarn you used gives him nice monkey-ness! I like his friend, too!

Thank you for the nice comments. I am trying to get back into the swing of things crochet wise. I had fun making him. I just wish I hadn't messed up his mouth. Oh well, he's in the mail on the way to my daughter's. Bye,bye Mr. Monkey
