Hello... Smiley This is my first topic! I've been crocheting for a couple of months now but didn't really think anything was worth posting. I've made a bunch of hats for my friends and family and a few amigurumi. Here's a scarf I made today. It's pretty simple and I just made it up while I was crocheting. It's super soft and cozy. Smiley I'm also starting to spin & dye yarn... The merino wool was dyed while it was roving and then I spun it. I always wondered, though, if there's a difference between dying the roving vs. dying the yarn after it's been spun?

This is super, I love those colors. The wooden buttons are a perfect choice, too Cheesy

As for dyeing, if you dye the roving before it's spun you get a different color pattern than when you dye the yarn later. Worth experimenting with for sure Smiley

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!
