This one actually WAS my costume! Hooray!
In case you haven't watched BATB in a while, Babette is the feather duster
This, unlike the first costume, I didn't completely make myself. I bought this huge princess cute bridesmaid dress, from a thrift store, then cut it apart, and turned it into a mermaid gown.
I basted a crinoline to the bottom, then glued almost 100 ostrich feathers to it!
I made the hat from scraps of the skirt, and the hand cuffs were made out of an old feather dusters feathers, and more skirt scraps. They button with Fleur De Lise buttons!

This thing was so much fun to walk in, you have no idea. It was kind of a pain getting up and down stairs, though.

In ACTION!!!! Look at me, with muh hair all did up.

And there's the Belle dress, on the girl who wore it in the show.

And this concludes my bragging o' the day.

The only thing I can think of is how expensive that dress must have been to make! Those ostrich feathers are pricey! The costume is fabulous! You have some great talent, my dear!

Beautiful dress!  It looks like the same style my wedding dress was, complete with the sash at the back.  Great job on both dresses, by the way!

This is incredible!!! I love every bit of it (even more once I realized it was a costume... this is what I get for not reading titles before looking at pictures)... the back details are by far my favorites!!!!

Both of your outfits are outstanding. They must have looked fantastic on stage.
