Hi all!

This is my first attempt at a recon of a man's sweater, formerly my boyfriend's (It was buried in the closet so it's fair game!  Tongue )

I was inspired by MrsBowles' recon here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=224654.0

Before:

Ugly, Boxy...

...basically like wearing a sack

After:

Fitted and Cute!

(Don't ask about my face in either of the pictures lol Lips sealed )

I kept most of the design the same, but changed the neckline and made shorter sleeves...I always push up my sleeves anyway so I decided to save myself some trouble.

Comments appreciated!

I like it a lot! I'm going to have to try this... I'd never wear those boxy things either. Never would have figured out it was a recon!

Love it!  How did you "fit it" in the midsection?  Looks really good!

I'll never look at a sweater the same again!    I eyeballed some of my dad's silk ties he quit wearing~ but I forgot to ask for them! Next trip!

I'm so glad I'm not the only person in the world who constantly pushes their sleeves up, 3/4 rules!  Love the sweater btw.
