So I had 3 Old Navy tops, all were the same charcoal colour  2 were ill fitting and the 3rd was a tank top that had holes in it.  I cut the sleeves off both of tops, and added the 3/4 length sleeves to the top I planned on keeping, cut the 2nd top to make a sort of cowl neck top and used the tank top to add overall length.  I like the results (maybe not the neck, I'm still on the fence about it).  Now I just have to get rid of the grease stain I didn't see until after I took the photo!

First top, I had start unstitching it before thinking I need to take a picture

the second long sleeve top

Final result

Thank you both! I feel that by reducing my closet but still keeping the clothes, I will get in less trouble from the husband for taking over his space!

Nice new top!  Add a pretty pendant and you're good to go.
