I just found the gibbious site yesterday and wisted some of her skirts though i like just about all of them
 i wish i could make myself siome. I can kinda see how it's done but i fail at skirt making ( or any clothing making Tongue)
 will look forward to seeing everyone elses  clothes they make inspired by hers though

well the fun things about this type of altered style is all about scraps and heirlooms and lots of free motion embroidery and lace and layers and RECYCLING great way to use up the scraps its like an art canvas but with fabric it is how you over lap and stuff....you don't have to make skirts it can be jackets taking something someone doesn't want or isn't beautiful and altering it into something new and awesome! lol......i will collect some examples and post some links....

i just love how it is like accidental art! how there are textures but yet history and alot of time and love. I have made some things already and yes it is alot of love and time.
