So after months and months of obsessively lurking, I thought: Hang on a second... I've been crafting for years... And all I do is look at Craftster. Why am I not posting anything?!

So two things I love: Crafting and Zelda.

Here's something I got the idea for in Math 131 and simply had to do the minute I got back to the apartment...

It's also my idea for a unique Zelda tattoo, since EVERYONE has a Triforce now. It's a combination of the Sheikah design and the wings of the Twilight Princess Hylian crest. I'll wait a little while until I actually go ahead and get it... I guess literally letting myself "sleep on it" for a bit!

Materials:
  • Freezer Paper
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Fabric Paint Medium

(I've actually found that acrylic paint mixed with fabric paint medium works just as well as fabric paint on smooth surfaces, as long as you're not skimpy with the medium!)

A close-up of the pillowcase design. The soft, smooth fabric took the paint beautifully! After ironing and washing, it's super nice to sleep on and I don't even notice the paint.

Size comparison with my big fat head.

And the tank top that I pulled from the same stencil... Since it was the second go, it came out a little less clean, plus the tank top was a thicker and heavier fabric that didn't take the paint as well at all. I wear it anyway.
