this is my first picture post so please be kind, just finished my cute biker girrrrrrrrl bag made with an alexander henry fabric, added some snappers at the sides so it can be bigger if i want to use it as an overnight bag and it fastens with a magnet to keep pilfering fingers from wriggling their way in, i lined it with a cute giant polka dot fabric and made a little zippy pocket for the niff naff that cobbles around the bottom of my bag, also had a little scrap left over with a girls face on from squaring up the bottom so i of course made a little covered button with it, who wouldn't want a disembodied face button?? no just me then?? lol  Grin

Very nice, and love the button accent. You should get some shots of the inside. Cool

I am loving this bag.....and I would be one of the those that adore the little bodiless button!  I love everything and anything made out of Alexander Henry fabric.

Nicely done!!!

I run with scissors.....it makes me feel DANGEROUS!!

hee hee, yay not just me then, my friends tend to find me odd, but hey ho, never be a sheep!! i love his fabrics too, i had so many things i wanted to make with this but couldn't bear to mess with it too much!! i have fabric cutting anxiety lol!! sometimes simple is best, a tricky one coming from the "more is more" and "way, way too much more is just enough" school of design!!  Grin

That's a gorgeous bag and the disembodied face button is a wonderful embellishment, LOL!!!   If you made a matching zipper bag you could maybe cover a button with a scrap from her panties!!  Wink

A few years ago I made some gifts for a friend using bare chested fireman hunk fabric Smiley  I still have several yards of the fabric to use up (a new ironing board cover is high on my list!) -  I'm glad that manufacturers have made such fun and racy fabrics available!!

thanks for your comments!!  Cheesy  don't know if you've seen it but there is a stunning dress made of fireman fabric currently on the home page in the hot projects, it is gorgeous, being a newbie i'm not sure how to link to it!!  Grin
