Naw, they can't name him Eric, because then they'd have to name all subsequent kids that! XD

Exactly, lol. No Eric is not a name we're considering. We don't have a name picked out yet, though we do have some we like. Cheesy

Aw, Retro_Rose- I did the same thing with my 1337 post; I was so excited that it was coming up and then...oh, crap! lol Glad I'm not the only one.
I'm love goodmorningstarshine's large so much that I'm going to have to make one for myself. It makes me giggle everytime I look at it.

When I took History 101 in university, and we got to the enlightenment and  Rene Descartes, our prof had someone come to the front of the class (150+ people) and play this song on the guitar while those who could sang along.

Ah, sounds like my kind of class! Yes!!! That song was my ringtone for a long time.

I'm excited about this large! I can't wait to receive it!

I have finished one small. It was my first time using -----, which I've been wanting to learn to use for a while. I tried making 3 seperate items, but only one turned out looking nice. I tossed the other two. I may try again; I'm not sure. But that's one point down, 5 to go!

I started working on what I suppose is going to be a large last night. I thought it would be a medium, but when MPHG looped the third time and I realized that I only had 3/4 of the pieces constructed and still had no idea of how to stick them together, I realized I had a problem. I think it will be cute though.

My brain hurt like a warehouse, it had no room to spare
I had to cram so many things to store everything in there
And all the fat-skinny people, and all the tall-short people
And all the nobody people, and all the somebody people
I never thought I'd need so many people

so the fabric stuff you use when you make potholders, does that keep you protected from heat only, or does it keep hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold? I'm just curious.... That's all.

I actually made decent progress this weekend, what with the dyeing, the polymer clay & the embroidery. I had projects going on in practically every room. I hope to finish it up next weekend seeing as it is a long weekend.

I am totally intrigued as to what you are making!!!!!

Um, ME TOO! How cool!

My projects are just winding up. I've had quite a bit of fun with them. My large ended up being more time-consuming than I had anticipated because I just couldn't stop adding to it! I hope you like it, aethelberga!

Also :

Yay for heat transfer! Insulation is great for keeping hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold. It reduces conductive heat transfer. (That's when heat transfers from hot things to cold things through contact. Putting insulation slows down the process.)

I just finally got one of the items needed for one of my items, and it made me smile. It is kinda like a joke within a joke, to me at least. I hope my partner appreciates it as much as I do. (I actually haven't even started crafting with it yet. As someone with a great respect for knowledge, I am having trouble getting up the nerve to cut into it and destroy it. lol)

One of my other ideas is getting more difficult. I knew what I was doing, but then I thought of a way to "improve" on it - meaning make it more complex. No matter what, I am determined to get it all done in time though. Here's to hoping.

Well, I had finished my large, and my medium. And my small ended up being another large! haha. I'll call my medium a small now I guess. It took me only a couple of hours, to technically it's the smallest. One item took me 3 hours, and the other took me about 5 as I had no pattern and had never made anything like it before.

I'm sending items I'm really proud of. Unique items. This was really fun! I'm excited for you to see them Onyxnox! I may send Saturday if I have enough time on my lunch break, Else wise I'll have to wait til Tuesday.
