When I went to the post office she told me there was no such thing as DC for Canada, she kept trying to get me to spend a lot of money on different expedited shipping options, all of which I really couldn't afford. She also told me regulations just changed for packages going to Canada. Last time I shipped, I didn't have to put a monetary amount on the customs form, but this time I did and had to itemize the form, which I thought was really strange.

It was a large box. I just think she didn't know what she was talking about

I heard from my partner/our organizer and she's apparently being a winter hermit (much like myself) and while the package has arrived at her local post office, she has yet to muster up the courage to bundle up three children and venture out into the white wilds of the Canadian winter to pick it up I, fully understand and wish her the best of luck as she plans to head out today to pick up my package May God be with you 1boy1girl!

Okay I don't know if any of you ladies will respond, but I have a question from all you cloth diaper ladies! My mom found a fitted cloth diaper pattern and wants to help me make some diapers for baby before he gets here. She suggested rubber pants (the little diaper covers from gerber) which is fine by me, but I've seen some online that uses PUL inside with cotton on the outside, since it's just a soaker. My question is this, for anyone who has or does use PUL where can I find it the cheapest??? I am thinking just white since I'm only using it as a diaper cover.

Wool and fleece work better for our lil man versus pul and vinyl covers, which wear out. True, with wool you do have to lanolize it everytime you wash, but you only have to wash it when the lanolin wears out of it.

While I agree wool and fleece are preferred by many, PUL is thinner and also the #1 choice for some, including myself. I find wool too high maintenance and I could never get the hang of lanolizing. Fleece I find too bulky and you need two layers to make it as resistant as PUL.

You can get PUL from wazoodle.com , it ships fast in Canada but slow to the US.

BUt the biggest makers of PUL right now is Fabrite and they're going through some big changes right now so it may be hard to get some.
