I found gremlin holes in our soffit in our kitchen when I took down the wallpaper.  Seriously, some people don't know how to finish up their work!

Soooooo lovely!  What a great rehab!  This space doesn't look utilitarian at all.  I love the wall color: it goes very nicely with both your new floor tiles and vanity. After working on this gremlin hole this week I'm thinking of changing my name to Cesar, because I'm becoming a Wall Whisperer.  I rehabilitate walls when it's too late to train the people who've wrecked them.

That is a wonderful bathroom makeover. I have to ask, about how much did you spend total? I'm just wondering because I just bought a house, and there is a bathroom that will need major rehab. Probably even more then yours did, but at least this will give me a starting point for estimating.

Here's estimate/guesstimate for ya!

• Faucet, Home Depot, but I can't find it on their site now.  I'd guesstimate $120 or so.  It was on sale or clearance when we got it.
• Paint, Home Depot, 2 gallons Glidden (color-matched from a more expensive brand, but you could go even cheaper!)  Guestimate $50.
• Lighting fixture above the mirror, Lowes (http://www.lowes.com/pd_60409-43501-FV05-003BSFT_6_?productId=1209199&Ntt=vanity lights&Ntk=i_products&pl=1&currentURL=/pl_$50%2Bor%2Bless_6__s?Ntk=i_products$Ntt=vanity lights) $14
• Lighting fixture on ceiling, guesstimate $20
  

That would bring it to approximately $405 for the "core" pieces (minus flooring).

Accessories -- toilet paper holder, shelves, print $37, frame (50% off at Michael's), hand towels, reed air freshener, soap dispenser set, candles, waist basket, show curtain... probably $150.  I get most of the accessories from Burlington Coat Factory -- sales!

So, $555 plus flooring.
