Got the evite, Niki, thanks!

gren, I'm bringing my 2 yr old and 7 weeker. I'll keep baby with me but is the sitter going to be okay with my toddler?

so it's looking like I can go. And I can totally give jeniferpi & her little one a ride. Niki, think I can get one of those evites? And I'll PM jen to offer a ride.

Yay, Tink! I'm glad you're coming. Yes, I told her that it was going to be 2-6 yr olds (I didn't think anyone had children older than that...  Huh), so she is expecting munchkins. Smiley

In my case she should expect a monster. LOL

I think I know what I'm doing for the yankee swap.  Grin

I know what to bring for the yankee swap but not sure about what to bring for crafting. I sew. Can't lug my machine. LOL
Maybe I'll bring my paint and fabric medium so I can paint girly stuff on my jeans I'm going to recon into a sewing organizer.

supertink, I had the same dilemma as a lot of my crafting is also sewing and other less than easily transported stuff. I thought about bringing fabric & a pattern to pin & cut there. Luckily I'm a new knitter so I have that as an option.

ETA: jeniferpi said she'd be down for riding with me but I haven't heard from her to confirm details like where she lives. Hopefully everything's okay & I'll hear from her soon.

Well I'm pumped that it's just a day & a half away!  I made my swap item a couple days ago and my husband at least thinks it looks good.  I'm excited to get together.  I'm going to make cupcakes - is anybody allergic to anything?

Not allergic to anything.

As I stated when I replied to the evite, me cooking is considered an insult. So I'm bringing drinks. Anybody have preferences or dislikes? I was going to pick up some 2 liters of sodas, a thing of juice & some drink boxes or something for the kiddos, though I'm sure you're all such wonderful parents that you'll be prepared to attend to the needs of your children and it'll be more of a gesture from one of the few non-parent attendees to say I'm glad they're there.

niki--Not allergic to sugar or white flour, just can't have it. So I'll appreciate the smells.  Grin I'm going to try and bring something low-carb compliant. What that is I don't know yet.

spaz--Your cooking sounds like mine. LOL  I make a mean homemade alfredo sauce, though. As for drinks, we do anything without sugar. But don't make special accomodations just for me.
