Great idea! I did something really similar in my dining room, but with contact paper instead of freezer paper. I hope it's ok to post the link here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=305872.0 I also had to do a ton of touch-up, but mine was from the paper picking up the ink from the printer (I stuck the contact paper on my computer printouts to cut it, then peeled it off) and then depositing the ink on my wall, so I had these thin black outlines around my design that I had to paint over. After I was like "duh, should have reversed the image and stuck the contact paper on the back)

This looks cool, but it would have been cooler if you created your own design instead of using someone else's, probably without their permission.

Beautiful! I agree with a previous poster that the bleed isn't a drawback, I think it gives the design more dimension.

I didn't know you could use freezer paper on anything other than fabric. I'm filing that tidbit away for future use...

Oh! If I could make sense of it all. I wish that I could sing, I'd stay in a melody. I would float along in my everlasting song. What would I do to believe...

Comments like this are SO silly.  I don't need their permission to paint the design on my OWN nursery wall.

This really is awesome.
I love the tree of life, and I think that it would be really exciting to stencil it on one of my walls.
And that just opens up so many options for decorating all of the walls with stencils...
So exciting!

Nicely done!  I should show my friend, she's been wanting to do something with her walls for awhile, and this may appeal to her.
