My husband keeps calling this my Benjamin Franklin Quaker shirt. I suppose on the hanger it does look a little Quaker Oats, but it is actually quite pretty on.  I really need to either make a dress form to model my clothes or pull out the tripod. Anyway, I got the tutorial for this from http://tearosehome.blogspot.com/2010/01/tutorialruffle-shirt.html  and then changed it up a bit.
Here is my version:

This was actually 2 free advertisement T-shirts given to me.
I cut down one and re-fitted it, and then made ruffles with the second one.
I then preceded to sew Ruffles over the top of the advertisement of the re-fitted T.
Another adjustment I made with the sleeves was that I cut the sleeves off and then re-sewed them upside down and then trimmed the bottoms to have even edges.  This gives the sleeve a more romantic, flouncy, butterfly effect. All in all I am happy with the result.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

That looks lovely!  Are the ruffles hemmed, or are they raw edges?
