Gorgeous.  I've painted with acrylics and they dry so, so fast!  Its difficult to get good colour blending like that.  Especially your first go at it.  You did amazingly work.  I can't wait to see what you come up with next.  Any plans?

Wow!  Thank you everyone for the awesome feedback! 

@kjlutz--I was intrigued by what you wrote, and I asked my sister, who studied art too, and she said that drawing is "linear" while painting is "spatial" and they're in connected but different parts of the brain?  Makes sense.

@teachingjonah: Plans?  Starting to.  I might add some paintings to the Etsy store I'm working on (not up yet), and a friend actually commissioned a large painting for her husband's birthday.  We'll see how that goes.  As far as acrylics go, I have to use them because of two very young, very tall kiddos!  Fast drying time is the major sell. Smiley The blending took a while and is definitely not perfect up close.
