Like many of the members here, I am thankful for a community of supportive and inspirational people...in the years that I have been a member of the mod squad, I have met so many talented artists and feel like I have watched a huge family live out our lives together: marriages, weddings, babies, grandchildren, on and on...

I also have swapped and was amazed to find out how much Craftster has supported the US Post office and UPS! WOW! We are our own stimulus package!

Leah, you have been the best, guiding us all in a positive direction...thank you and best of everything to you and your family!  Remember that we mod squad members get first dibs at swapping with you... Cheesy

A warm welcome to Wade! If you don't know how to knit, crochet, sew, paint, bead, quilt, etc., you will! Our tutorials are awesome! And no lurkers allowed!! Wink

Thanks for the legacy Leah. I'm proud to be called a craftster, and I look forward to seeing some of your future projects. Oh! And I'm so glad I wasn't here for the Asian guy incident! LOL! Grin

I'm so excited about the change!  We will miss Leah (she better stick around!), but I'm looking forward to getting to know Wade and seeing what happens!

Leah - I love the video, it made me laugh so much. Cheesy  Guessing the answers was so much fun!

Best wishes to you, Leah!  I found Craftster years ago when I was trying to teach myself to knit.  At the time, my children were just old enough to give me time alone during the day to rediscover my love of craft, and Craftster played a huge part in that renaissance for me.

I can't possibly begin to name all the wonderful techniques and genres I have learned about here!  Kool-aid dye, felted crochet, japanese cute felt mascots,  tea towels embroidered in every sort of funky and fun way, bag sewing (although I never attempted the Jordy..), the Hello Kitty Granny Square, gosh, Etsy was even less scary for me because of the Craftster discussion threads with advice!

Thank you so much for creating a warm, welcoming, creative, encouraging environment here.  Kiss Kiss

And thank you for reminding me of the Mr. Asian Porn episode.  Shocked That was hilarious.
