Sorry for the crappy pics, they make me look even wider than I really am. Shocked

You can't tell in the pic, but this shirt had a belt that was sewn into it that reminded me of a bandeau top which inspired me to do this.

AFTER (with a black t-shirt cut off at the armpits):

I wish I would have made it a little longer.
C&C's welcome.  I'm actually working on a couple of other projects with the rest of the shirt.  I'm making a shrug with the top and sewing the bottom ruffle onto the bottom of a turquoise tank.  I'll post those when I'm done, IF they turn out ok.  lol

Much better now. You really spotted the potential in that.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Antidigger said just what I was thinking.  I bet it's waaay more comfortable too.

If you can't do it with duck tape...it can't be done!

I have more fabric left from the original shirt.  How do you think it would look with a ruffle at the bottom to give it some length?  I'm not sure how that will look, but as much as I love it, I still haven't worn it because it's shorter than I normally wear.  Any other suggestions to lengthen it?  I may just go find a longer black t-shirt and start all over. Undecided
