I love these little origami-like boxes.

It's possible to make boxes like this from a round (ish) piece of paper, but it takes a HUGE piece of paper and there's a lot of bulk folded to the inside.

I like this one because it fits on a 8.5 x 11 or A4 piece of paper.

The top sections fold down and to the left and the snowflake arms interlock.

Oh, yes!  Somewhere I have hearts...and a flower.

AND, if you don't want to cut the fiddly snowflake parts on the pattern, cut out the box but make a tab where each snowflake point would be.  Make a separate six-pointed paper snowflake (the usual way) and cut it apart along its folds like a pie.  Close the box.  Glue the snowflake pieces in place (to the tabs).

The snowflake is just decoration. It doesn't hold the box shut.  So you could glue whatever you want on there....
